Five calculation methods
- Floor: P = (H + L + C) / 3. R1 = 2P − L; S1 = 2P − H. R2 / S2 add or subtract H − L. R3 = H + 2(P − L); S3 = L − 2(H − P).
- Woodie (previous-close variant): P = (H + L + 2C) / 4. R1 / S1 = 2P − L / H; R2 / S2 = P ± (H − L). This variant weights the prior close, rather than the new period’s open.
- Camarilla: R1–R4 / S1–S4 = C ± 1.1(H − L) divided by 12, 6, 4 and 2 respectively. The table uses the Floor P as its central reference.
- DeMark: X = H + 2L + C when C < O; 2H + L + C when C > O; H + L + 2C when C = O. P = X/4; R1 = X/2 − L; S1 = X/2 − H.
- Fibonacci: use Floor P with R1–R3 / S1–S3 = P ± (H − L) × 0.382, 0.618 and 1.
Worked example
With H = 110, L = 90 and C = 100, the Floor pivot is 100, R1 is 110 and S1 is 90. The open only changes the DeMark branch. Blank table cells mean that a method does not define that level.
