Terms of service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using the website, creating an account, installing TradeSidecar or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Product description

TradeSidecar is an independent software product; its Chrome extension targets the currently supported TopstepX workflow. The product adds chart context, execution controls and position-management tools around the platform you already use.

3. Independent third-party status

TradeSidecar is an independent third-party product. It is not a broker, exchange, prop firm, investment adviser or trading platform, and it is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Topstep, TopstepX, Tradovate or their respective owners.

4. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter a contract and permitted to use the relevant trading platform and software in your jurisdiction. The service is intended for adults. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, account rules and platform terms.

5. Accounts

A verified email account or Google sign-in is required before Pro checkout. Provide accurate information and protect the credentials for the account you use. Do not share your session or attempt to access another account.

6. Software license

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use TradeSidecar for your own lawful workflow. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass access controls or interfere with the service except where applicable law permits it.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to violate a platform or prop-firm rule, submit unauthorized requests, abuse checkout or billing, probe the service, distribute malware, misrepresent TradeSidecar, or use the product for unlawful or fraudulent activity.

8. Supported platforms

TopstepX is the current supported platform for TradeSidecar. Platform pages, APIs, chart interfaces and account rules can change without notice. Additional integrations are planned, not promised, until listed as Available Today.

9. Subscriptions and prices

The Free plan is available at no charge. TradeSidecar Pro is currently offered at $19.90 per month or $169.90 per year in USD through hosted Waffo Pancake Checkout. An eligible checkout may include a free or reduced-price trial; Waffo shows the trial length, any upfront charge, regular price, and first renewal date before confirmation. The selected plan renews automatically unless cancelled before renewal. Prices and taxes, if applicable, are shown at checkout.

10. Automatic renewal

By completing a recurring subscription checkout, you authorize the applicable renewal charges through Waffo Pancake until you cancel. Waffo Pancake is the Merchant of Record and controls payment processing. Renewal timing and any required notices are shown in the checkout and billing portal.

11. Pricing changes

We may change plan prices or features for future billing periods. We will provide notice where required. A price change does not change a completed billing period unless required by law or agreed with you.

12. Cancellation

You may cancel from Manage billing at any time, including during a trial. Cancellation normally prevents future renewal while access remains available through the current trial or paid period. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy for the applicable process and refund rules.

13. Refunds

Refund requests are reviewed under the published Cancellation and Refund Policy, Waffo Pancake's merchant terms and applicable law. A refund is not guaranteed solely because a subscription was not used. Duplicate charges, accidental renewals and other exceptional circumstances should be reported promptly to support.

14. Suspension and termination

We may pause or terminate access for non-payment, fraud, abuse, security concerns, a platform restriction, or a material breach of these terms. We may also discontinue a feature. Suspension does not automatically cancel amounts already due, and your platform account remains governed by its own provider.

15. Third-party services

Google, Waffo Pancake, TopstepX, TradingView, Chrome and other third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their availability, data practices or changes. Their logos and trademarks remain with their owners.

16. Trading responsibility

You are solely responsible for your account, orders, positions, settings, permissions, risk limits and decisions. Review the active account, contract, side, quantity, price, stop and target in the supported platform before every action. Never treat a product display as confirmation of execution or fill.

17. Optional automation and AI limitations

Optional automation assistance is off by default and depends on page state, connection, chart data and your configuration. It is not autonomous financial advice or a guarantee of execution. AI Market Context is Coming Soon in the current product; any future AI output will be descriptive context, not a recommendation or promise.

18. Service availability

The website, extension and supported platform may be unavailable, delayed, changed or interrupted by maintenance, browser updates, provider outages, connection problems or page changes. Planned and roadmap features are not commitments to a release date.

19. Intellectual property

TradeSidecar, its site content, software, designs and marks are owned by or licensed to TradeSidecar and are protected by applicable law. These terms grant use rights only; they do not transfer ownership. Third-party source notices and licenses remain applicable.

20. Warranty disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement or profitable results. Nothing here excludes a warranty that cannot legally be excluded.

21. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TradeSidecar is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary loss, lost profits, trading loss, data loss, platform action, or interruption arising from use of the service. Any direct liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service in the twelve months before the event, except where law requires otherwise.

22. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify TradeSidecar and its service providers from claims, losses and costs arising from your unlawful use, breach of these terms, violation of a third-party rule, or decisions and actions taken through your account.

23. Governing law and venue

These terms are interpreted under the law applicable to the provider's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If no specific venue is stated in an applicable order, disputes will be brought in a court with jurisdiction over the provider, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your location.

24. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or law changes. The updated date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
